The content that you all may read below regards the recent Pahang English trial.
As there is only one month ahead before the real UPSR exam, I would suggest to every teachers and parents who have children sitting for UPSR to try the following tips:
1. The questions mostly came from the textbook.
2. Advice your children to look at every topics and contents in the textbook.
3. Discuss with your children about each and every topics.
4. Revise the textbook thoroughly.
5. Talk about the meanings of the difficult words and try to associate with other words too. This is going to let them have a good understanding of every topics.
6. Recently, the questions were composed based on the Y4, Y5, & Y6 textbook. I am sure that the items builder will highly put textbook as their priority of reference in composing the questions. So, look at the Y1-Y3 English textbook too if possible.
7. I believe that most of the teachers have covered the topics but no harm on checking them again just to brush up the candidates' memory.
8. Pray for your candidates and children success.
WARNING!!! This compilation of ideas is based on my teaching experience only. I am nobody related to any of the item builders who have involved in composing the questions. I am just SHARING THE SOLUTIONS that might help all of us to cover as much input as possible that the candidate should get to prepare themselves for the exam. This is JUST AN INSTINCT that comes from a very concern teacher. At least, we could do something with guidance to help our children. All the best! Hugs and kisses.
