TOPIC:  Family Day

CONTENT STANDARD: 4.1
WEDNESDAY
LEARNING STANDARD: 4.1.1
Able to enjoy jazz chants , poems and songs through non-verbal response

OBJECTIVES : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

·         recite poems using the correct intonation.
ENGLISH
TEACHINGS AIDS: text book/flash card/signs
LANGUAGE
ACTIVITIES/STEP:

1.      Teacher shows the poem.

2.     Teacher recites with the correct pronunciation.

3.     The teacher assigns pupils into 6 groups.

4.     Pupil recites in their group.

5.     Pupil creates a poster about the poem in their group.

6.     Pupil shows their poster to others group in front.

MORAL VALUE: Working together to achieve the goal.

CRITICAL THINKING: Identifying characteristics, Creating metaphors

OBJECTIVES : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

·         identify at least 8 common noun in the exercise given.

  1. Introduction to the common nouns.   

  1. Teacher tells the pupils about when they should include the common nouns.

  1. Wh-questions with teacher (orally)

  1. Teacher asks a pupil to come infront to solve the question given by the teacher.  

  1. Pupil does the exercise given.   

  1. Teacher guides the pupils.
